| In her recent works essentially
compositions on paper or cardboard in which the main figure is again the wet
paintbrush soaked in colour, Letizia opens small and large "windows", fissures
of geometrical form animated with delicate transparent tonalities of colour, the
light-coloured surface of the support opening up on vast panoramas of blended
naturalistic contours, or romantic details or abstract chromatic depths.

Memories, sentiments and feelings of passing time are the basis of my
pictorial research. My thoughts which are melancoly and questioning turn towards
man, sometimes they are a little ironic and puzzled by the mystery of fortune
enfolded in human feelings, the magic of love and the miracle of constructing

Windows, cracks, a gleam of light represent for me
inner occasions to illuminate detail: a face an atmosphere, a memory, an
